Narrow Front is out on iPhone and iPad
· By Satyajit Pradhan, founder of Matterward Labs
Narrow Front 1.0 is out on the App Store. Apple released it on October 8, 2026, in 174 countries and regions. It is free to download, with no in-app purchases, and runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 15.0 or later.
What is in it
The iPhone and iPad version has the same battles as Android 1.0:
- Campaign. Ten missions from Colleville to Remagen, June 1944 to March 1945. Each has its own battlefield and an attached unit. Read the dispatches.
- Skirmish. Eleven maps against the computer, five ranks from Recruit to Ace, and battles of three, five or eight minutes.
- Army. 45 units and tactics: 8 infantry squads, 24 tanks, 4 anti-aircraft and rocket artillery vehicles, 4 aircraft and 5 support tactics. Browse the catalogue.
- Service record. 20 achievements, and optional Game Center sign-in that syncs your campaign and army between your iPhone and iPad.
Every battle runs offline against the computer, and you can play without an account. An optional rewarded video gives a free supply drop, up to three a day. No ad interrupts a battle. Android and iOS saves stay separate.
Still to come on iPhone
Since 1.0, Android has gained two-player battles over the same Wi-Fi or hotspot, the battle cam and NEWSREELS, a global leaderboard and optional premium crates. They come to iPhone and iPad in an update.
